You may already be aware of this but there are a lot of Aussies skiing and working in Whistler.  So many so, that the locals now refer it to Whistralia.  Just about everyone you meet is from Australia, from the receptionist at your hotel, to the server in the bar or restaurant, the lifties, ski instructors and tourists.  We have over-run the place and for good reason. Whistler is awesome!
Whistler Blackcombe boasts 4,757 skiable acres and is one of the largest ski resorts in North America.  What this really means that even when it’s busy, its not really that busy compared to Australian ski resorts. The mountain is that well organized that lift queues are virtually non existent.
Whistler is an attractive destination for Aussies as it is an all year round resort with plenty of jobs available to travellers. We have collated some information for you to help you organize your Whistler working experience.

Finding accommodation is the age old issue in ski resorts.  The pay’s not great and you need to have some play money left after food and rent.  Everything is more expensive in ski resorts so be prepared.
